Is anyone experiencing difficulties in clients not having their MO individual income tax payments withdrawn using the "electronic funds withdrawal" promptly?
Federal payments submitted electronically using ProSeries are usually completed the same day or one day later.
Clients/taxpayers are getting NO action from the MDOR 7 days after electronic filing. So something is slowing this process down.
Your reference to the post includes the comment "clears the bank" which indicates a paper filed/mailed check. Mailed checks can take up to 2 to 3 weeks to get posted.
No, clears the bank means the date the bank processes the payment whether the payment is electronic or paper. For the record, 7 days isn't a huge delay in processing.
