    Is there a way to print the date in the preparer section of Form 1040?

    Where would it go?  The IRS deleted the space for a date in the preparer section.

    Maybe you can print it on the stamp that goes on the postcard?

    I would move the Presidential Election Campaign check box section to Schedule "ZZZ" and use the space for the Print Date.

    In the Preparer Information section of Tools...isn't there a box to check in there?

    There is a check box under Tools > Options > Preparer Info. I have it checked, but the date is not printing. Perhaps it is because of the reformatted all-on-one-page design.

    Ugh! that's completely possible.   Well that kinds sucks, I like to see the date it was printed on my copy.
