IP PIN for dependent is listed correctly but return rejects

So I have a return that keeps snapping back rejected saying IP PIN for dependent doesnt match database.

I have the letyter in hand and know its for current year and has been entered correctly by way of name and address plates as well.

this is proving tho be a nightmare.

 And FYI just a heads up I HHAD ARETURN THAT REQUIRED AN IP PIN GET PROCESSED WITHOUT IT LISTED AND IT WAS ACCEPTED!!!!B WHEN I CALLED IRS TO ASK WT HECK, THEY SAID  IT WAS A FIRST.

I amended(superseded ) the return and added the number and still took 12 weeks to process. But I couldn't believe I got acknowledgement and everything. 

IRS person could see original and could see amended in their system.

this current one with the IP PIN for dependent issue is mind numbing.....

If your sure you entered the correct pin on dependent info on the federal info worksheet under dependent identity protection pin, then you will have to mail it in. The Pin is only for e-file
