Importing K-1s

Why can't I import K-1s from 1065's into

I am unable to import K-1's from Forms 1065 and 1120S into individual 1040 accounts.

The tax identification numbers are correct.  

I have done this many times in the last 10+ years.

I was successful in importing K1s from 1065 into 1040   

I was NOT successful importing K1s from 1120S to 1040  HOWEVER  I have no information in the 1120S yet.

Are you current on program updates?

I can't import S Corp K-1s to Individual. It says no K-1 is available, but I do see that there is a file in the Shared folder waiting to be imported. I contacted Lacerte support and they could not figure out what is causing the issue.

I would think that someone knows or at least KBA available to refer to from Lacerte.

@Bhaumik - are you asking about Lacerte?  This thread is a PS one; completely different software than Lacerte.

Sometimes:

1) start over - deleting the info in the 1040 module, then try again.

2) Just KP the K-1 directly
