I've followed all of the ProSeries instructions about filing a 1040X electronically and it keeps rejecting without any explanation.

I just filed one today without any issues. When you say rejecting, do you mean you have actually transmitted the return and it is rejected when you check for acknowledgements, or are you having problems actually transmitting?

An IRS rejection always has a code number and/or explanation.
