I have a few clients that have paid the AMT for several years and are now receiving the AMT credit. I use the Basic program and and not sure if this is correct. Advise

Agree with Susan that you need to review F.8801 carefully.  I'd start with F.6251 from last year and identify the deferral items that shouldn't be included on F.8801.  If you have AMTFTC, there'd be a more involving calculation.

In theory it is correct. Review the Form 8801
