i am trying to file 2018 personal tax electronically, it ask me to update software. When i update it tells me there is NO update found?

If you had read the yellow banner alert that popped up in 2018 a week or so ago, it explained how to fix this. You need to use REFRESH updates, not the regular update...use one of these methods.
