I have a short term capital gain for a return that does not come from a 1099 B. It has not been reported to the IRS. How do I enter that on form 1040. I haven't been able to access any input form for anything other than 1099 B.
Thanks.

Just scroll down on the worksheet that you found.
Use the 1099B worksheet, just scroll down past the brokerage info and enter directly on the Sch D in the entry table provided.
Appreciate it. That is not real clear in the program.
