how to attach a pdf for a 1040-x amended return

When I tried to attach additional support to a 2020 1040 X amended return (after the original 2020 return was efiled,) the software does not recognize any pdf's on my desktop where they were located.  No issue with attaching pdf's on regular 1040 returns prior to efiling.  Anyone else seeing this or have any recommendations?

I did not have a problem with attachement on an amended, but mine was not on the desktop.

Tnx. Where did you have your attachment?   I just put mine on the desktop but can move it anywhere.

Just had mine in a sub folder for 2020 tax attachments.

Okay. Tnx. Will set up a sub folder where the tax files are and see if that works

On Lacerte, filing an amended return, I can find my files to attach easy enough, but 1040X is not listed among the forms I can attach to.  ???
