How I allocate income to 2 states MD , DC, I select both states and the 100 % of income goes to both no allocation. I read something about apportionment.

This is 1120 s. Where I select in this tax multistate ...that election exists ? I tried in MD , I entered the portion for MD and the total income, but nothing happens I do not see any factors o %...Please your help.

For MD you need Schedule A on page 3 of the 510. For DC, apportionment is done on page 4 of the D-20.

Tks. I see, do I need to check 1 factor and  will be any automatically calculation? same for DC? I'm sorry but  I'm lost and worry.

I don't use ProSeeries so I don't know how to do it in that software.
