How do I electronically file an individual return after electronically filing an extension?

I am confuse by the "freezing" of the info flowing to the form 4868.

It has been awhile since I did an extension and I don't know what to do after I file the extension to file the return.

Do I just unfreeze, complete the return and then efile?

I just complete the return, I dont remember ever having to uncheck the box on the 4868. 

Are you getting an error or something?

you can uncheck them or leave them checked it works either way. I used to uncheck them thinking it would cause a problem but it doesn't.
