Need to file Form 709 for an individual client. However, I was unable to find Form 709. Could someone tell me where to look for? Can Form 709 be e-filed?
Thank you.

F.709 cannot be e-filed. It must be filed on paper with the Kansas City service center.

You would need to use Professional (on a Pay-Per-Return basis).
Somebody recently said the 709 can not be e-filed, but I don't have any experience with that.
I can confirm there is no option to select Efiling on a 709.
Whether it CAN be EF but isn't offered in ProSeries, I have no idea.

Thanks for letting me know. Still trying to get it downloaded.
Thanks for your reply. This means Form 709 is totaling a separate filing from my client's 1040.
Got it. Thanks.
Thank you for the confirmation.
Got it. Thank you. Just hate redundant data entries.
You can Transfer data, like names, addresses and SSNS from the 1040 files. See drop down menu in Home Base for transferring.
There is no other data in 709s that comes from 1040s.
Is there yet an eFile option for Form 709 for 2022 to be filed in 2023?
No, 709s get paper filed.
