Form 8801 how to remove

An 87 year old client's 2021 return is automatically generating Form 8801 with a carryforward from 2020.

This client has not paid AMT ever since I've had him as a client (2004). I've tried to remove this form, but it just pops up again.  He will never be able to use this carryforward, and since the 8801 form isn't final yet, I can't efile his Fed return either.

How can I eliminate this form?

Take a look at the Carryover Worksheet...can you find mention of it in there and delete it?

it is shown on an AMT credit carryover sheet, but I can't delete the figure or the form.  If this is a carryover from years and years ago, I've not had any problem with it in years past, so this is mystifying.
