Form 5405 calcululated incorrect amount per IRS. Showed balance remaining 333, with 167 due. IRS changed to 500 due. Ongoing client with 5405 info transferred from prior year.. Any idea why miscalculation, or is IRS wrong?

What did last years 5405 show? 333 is a very odd amount. Would have warranted looking into it further prior to filing.
I always use the IRS FTHBC look up tool for these, to make sure what I see matches what IRS sees.
