There is a guy in a van down by the river.  Bring a plain brown paper bag with you down to the van.  Knock 5 times on the van's sliding door.  When he asks for the code tell him "drink more ovaltine".  The van door will open and a hand will come out.  Hand your bag to the hand.  He will fill up the bag with crisp 20 dollar bills and hand your bag back to you.  Whatever you do, don't try to make eye contact with him.  If you do, he will drive off with the stimulus money.

Let me rephrase the question. For spouse that worked will she/he receive stimulus separately?

Client already filed 2018 and 2019 taxes.

I know the IRS said that you will automatically receive a $1,200 stimulus check if you received Social Security retirement, disability, survivor, or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits in 2019.

If they filed 2018 and 2019 taxes, they should each receive the 1200...if IRS has direct deposit information on file, then it should be direct deposited....have them use the IRS Get My Payment website and see if theyve got any date shown for distribution of the money available yet.

This part: "For spouse that worked" has nothing to do with anything else you asked. That is Not a requirement.
