Hi everyone,
I am a brand new EA and this will be my first year using ProSeries Professional. I was wondering if I can use this software to file 1099NEC or W2 that my clients are issuing to their contractors or employees, to the IRS ? Or do I need some other software for this ?

Never used it but there is an option Select TOOLS>PRINT AND EFILE W2s AND 1099s

You'd need to purchase Quick Employer Forms to use with ProSeries, I think its less than $200, Ive never used it though.
Check out CFS TaxTools software.
As @George4Tacks says, it's the Swiss Army knife of tax pro software. Plus it is a great company to work with. taxtools.com (i think..)
Oops... maybe it isn't *TaxTools* itself. But CFS *does* offer a payroll/F 1099 program; I haven't used it in years but I did like it.

Tax tool requires you to buy basic 1099/W2 software and to E-file is add on, so total would be $298.
And Quick Employer Forms is $171 total and integrated in your ProSeries...
Hahah that sounds even better. Thank you for everything, appreciate your help!
I will google free filing on IRS website... 🙂
As I said new EA , no experience so far , just decided to switch careers for something I am passionate about...
Thank you again !
There are a number of online services that file "just a few" for pretty cheap. https://www.1099online.com/ is one https://www.tax1099.com/payroll-tax-forms/efile-w2-online does both
Let Google do your shopping.
I have been using W2 Mate for several years. W-2's 1099 Misc and 1099 NEC $59.
Other 1099's and Efile are extra, but I have always just mail them in. It has done what I need it for.
very very useful, thanks for sharing of details, also refer Form 2290
