Extension payments

Great job Intuit and IRS.  I transmitted 315 extensions with electronic payments on April 15th and the payments all cleared by midnight on April 15th.  I would have expected delays transmitting payments on such a hectic day but the IRS and Intuit came through with flying colors.

Sorry, I only transmitted a couple of extensions with payments and I haven't heard from the clients whether the payments cleared or not.  But too many folks around here have been posting such gloom and doom about delays, I thought everybody could use a story with 315 happy endings --------------- even if it is fake news. 😬

IRS (and Intuit) are pretty good at extracting money… I expect to see my renewal invoice for TY  2026 in the next 2 hours.

Actually, I was surprised that the renewals didn't show up by last Friday.
