Entering K1 info from Boxes 1-3

My client, an individual, received a K1 to be entered as part of her 1040 submission. On the K1, there are losses in both box 1 Ordinary business income (loss) and box 2 Net Rental Real Estate Income (Loss). In ProSeries Basic, I attempted to enter both box 1 and 2 on the K1 screen; however, it does not allow me to enter both boxes on a single K1 input sheet. I have to create 2 K1's, 1 for the ordinary income (loss) and 1 for the net rental real estate income (loss). Why can't I enter data from both box 1 and 2 on the same K1?

You probable need to create two K1's

In most cases, Box 1 is non-passive income and Box 2 is potentially passive income.  ProSeries was not designed to designate each box as passive or non-passive, so you need to enter non-passive vs passive income on separate K-1s (if there are any other boxes, you'll need to know if it pertains to business income in Box 1 or if it pertains to rental income in Box 2).
