I filed a 2023 fiscal year corporation return for the year ended September 30, 2024 with proseries on December 26, 2024. This return is due on January 15, 2025. Intuit shows it received the return on December 26, 2024 but has not yet submitted it.

IRS e-file is shut down. here is what IRS says it opens.

Filing season start dates:

Business tax returns: 9 a.m. Eastern on January 15, 2025.

Individual tax returns: Coming soon

Intuit closed EFiling for business returns on the 20th or 21st this year, days before IRS closed on their end.

That must be something new this year.  I thought e-filing was like 7-11 and never closes 😧
