I’m looking for clarification on how ProSeries handles e-filing state tax returns when a copy of the federal return is required as an attachment.
In ProConnect Tax, the software automatically includes the other state tax return when needed and provides a diagnostic if a manual attachment is required. Does ProSeries function similarly when a federal return must be attached to a state return, or do we need to manually attach the federal return for each client?

Any insights on how ProSeries processes this would be greatly appreciated!

If its required for YOU to attach a PDF of another state, you'll be prompted and a pop-up note will tell you what to do.
I have a MT client with a CA rental and MT requires me to attach a copy of CA to it before Efiling.
