Client got married in August and I cannot get the program to recalculate the 1095A

Alternative calculation rarely helps much,  if at all. 

Married Separate might make more sense if a large PTC payback is happening filing jointly.

What do you mean by recalculate?

The Alternative Calculation for year of marriage on Form 8962 does not always help the result.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
