One client is a firefighter, the other one is a police officer. They are both employed with City of New York.
I know proseries has a state return for New York State and another state return for New York City.
In the individual level, i would just file the NYS tax return (one state) in proseries for a regular.
Do i need to also file NYC being that he is a NYC employee? I had been told that I'm required to file form 1127 but that seems to be only for non residents. My clients are both NYC residents.
