The smart sheet which shows the individual contributions does not seem to become part of the efiled return. Would think one would want that detail in the filed return when large amounts are given.

Not required. But you could always attach a Miscellaneous Statement or Additional Info Statement (both in the Forms tab) to the return. It won't be read but it will be part of the "official" return.
