If you're reporting gross income from the job, then yes, you'd report fees you had to pay to earn that gross income amount.
Just like you, as a tax professional, take a credit card for a client fee and have to pay a processing fee, you'd report the total amount the client paid you, then report the fees you paid on that gross amount as an expense.
