can someone claim his 44 year old girlfriend tha thas not worked because of drugs and has lived with him the full year does he claim her as other dependant and does he get the $500.00 credit?

This is basic Tax 101, if you cant answer this, you have no business preparing returns for money.

There have been a lot worse questions asked than this over the years without someone being chastised.  I’m not sure Cindy needs to be moved to public enemy number one over the question.
