    bypasssing Form 8949

    Pro Series in bypassing Form 8949 in reporting sale of stock and securities. My understaning is that because there are more thann 100 transactions. Is there a way to overide the bypassing and continue to use Form 8949 to report all transactions

    are you inputting to those little quick boxes on the 1099-B? 

    input short term covered , long term covered etc on each line of the 1099-b and it will show up on the 8949

    Ive never counted the number of transactions, I use the Summary boxes at the top of the 1099B worksheet for covered sales (those by pass the 8949 and land on Sch D), non-covered sales I summarize and enter in the Entry table below the Summary boxes (those will land on the 8949..
