Amended Tax returns

D0 you find that when you file an amended return electronicaly that it takes longer to process and be      accepted than what the origiinal tax returns take to be marked accepted?

I transmit all of my returns in the evening so I have never noticed a difference, but I very rarely do amended returns so I don't have an abundance of experience on that.  But with that said, you don't have a human reviewing them as they come in so I doubt there is much difference in timing.

No.  Prior year amended returns get accepted pretty quickly for me.  Current year isnt open yet.
