Works for me, maybe you should try and repair updates. This is one reason I never down load the new program before January

@Terry53029 it will be fixed on an update this coming week.. if you really have to file it now though you can disable error checking and it will go through.

This has to be a programming glitch. I expect it will be fixed in an update. There is no form required for cash contributions. Not sure why Intuit doesn't have someone to respond to this type of post.

" .... it will be fixed on an update this coming week"
Yep, as was pointed out by @Jim-from-Ohio .
This forum is mainly populated by fellow software users. A few (very few) Intuit employees show up occasionally. This is the scenario, even tho when Intuit support is contacted, folks are sent HERE for help. Us long-timers do what we can (Intuit pays us really, really well tho /S - that's sarcasm in case you are wondering ;-).

@The Hortin Group To be fair, like @abctax55 alluded to, I did send a sanitized file to our moderator @IntuitGabi who is the one that escalated it to the programmers and I did post her response above.. it will be fixed this coming week. I thought the service and response time with resolution was excellent.

Same issue here - and TurboTax Business 2024 is stating I cannot file electronically due to the issue with the form 8283. I have run all updates, and TT is current. This is the first time I have ever seen this error and have made cash contributions for years without any issues. Please help!

You landed in the wrong spot. This space is for tax professionals frustrated with ProSeries, Lacerte, and ProConnect. You have your own site dedicated to complaining about Turdo:
