Parents received a 1099-Q for 23 year old daughter ,full time student who earned $15K.  If they don't claim her as a dependant the earning's become taxable to them. How should this be handled?

Does she qualify as a dependent?   If not, and the daughter claims herself, then on the 1099Q worksheet for the parents you can show who is claiming the expenses associated with the 1099Q so they arent taxed on it.
