ProSeries is pulling the amount in line 2, "Fiduciary Adjustment", from the 1041, Line 11. This was verified on 2/21/2023 by a ProSeries Rep (Case:1595385291). The problem is that this could be incorrect. Line 11 on the 1041 includes property taxes, which should NOT be an add-back on the 1041ME. The result is that Maine taxable income is erroneously increased. Also see Maine's Schedule 1 on page 2, as the amount from federal line 11 lands here first, before populating line 2 on page 1. One can work around the error by entering a correcting amount on Schedule 1, line 2f.
