ProConnect Tax Year 23 returns with cities entered on the Profile tab did not transfer city information to Tax Year 24 returns. This issue has been resolved as of January 16th, 2025. States impacted are Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, and Oregon.
Any Tax Year 24 returns with this scenario proforma'd Jan 16th and prior will not automatically update and will need to follow one of the 2 options below.
- Enter the city information in the Tax Year 24 return in the Profile tab.
- In the Tax Year 23 program, transfer the applicable returns. The city information will rollover. Note: Transferring Tax Year 23 returns will create a new Tax Year 24 return and will not override any information entered in the original return.
