Submitted by garland on 04-11-2022 08:57 PMclients are impacted from total taxes, not just federal. ITO only has a schedule comparing MFJ with MFS. I think i have a client that might want to file separately, but i also think the state taxes might offset that. but have no clue without going way overboard trying to figure it out.
ITO needs to offer the same schedule for states as federal. Clients aren't just impacted by federal taxes and need to know the TOTAL tax impact of each filing option
