It takes an awful lot of keying to record a bulk sale through Depreciation. Each asset included must be opened separately, the disposition tab selected, the unique date of sale keyed in each time, and the main/parent assets reselected each time. Then you must return to the quick entry screed to select the next asset, go to details, and even though the details opens with the disposition tab accented, you have to go to the first tab and then return ti the disposition tab. Not only is my pace slowed considerably, I am tempted to put this task on the back burner, hoping for a time when there are no interruptions or distractions. If I have to resume this input later, I can't tell from the quick entry screen just where I left off.
I wish I could select the asset that will anchor the bulk sale, enter the date and sales price, then select from a drop-down menu all the assets to be attached to or included in this sale.
I happen to have a bulk sale that covers two different activities within a 1040. Can hardly wait to see how that turns out.
While we are in this quick entry module, why has the asset location been removed? Thanks for giving me extra work.
