I have had several clients this year who were unable to successfully login to Intuit Link using the URL in the invitation email originated by me within Intuit Link. At the login screen, they receive the message "We can't find anyone with name@company.com" and are unable to login to access Intuit Link.
I with someone at PTO support on Thursday (2/13/25) and was told the following: 1) Intuit is aware of the issue, 2) the only current solution is to have the client use a different email address to create their Intuit Link account, and 3) Intuit is NOT PLANNING TO FIX THIS ANYTIME SOON.
The proposed solution is useless for business clients who only have their single work email address and cannot use personal email addresses or obtain another work email address SOLELY to access Intuit Link. It is also ridiculous to say to an individual client, "you need to create a new email address solely so you can access your CPA's portal to do your tax return."
I am posting this to the community in hopes that everyone who has encountered similar problems will upvote the post to hopefully get Intuit to FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP.
If Intuit doesn't resolve this issue, I will be among the current licensees who use other (non-Intuit) applications for next year's compliance.
Thank you.
