The cover letter only includes federal information and excludes state details. Additionally, state information cannot be added to the federal letter, nor can it be edited separately. When providing clients with a 200-300 pages tax return, a comprehensive cover page is essential. In my experience with four other tax software programs, each has included both federal and state details—such as refunds, balances due, estimated taxes, and due dates—on the cover letter. Can someone confirm whether I am overlooking any available settings to include state details? If this feature is currently unavailable, I would like to request that a ticket be opened with the technical team for consideration in a future update. This enhancement would significantly improve the usability of Pro Connect and align it with industry standards.
