For the state of MA, what should we give as our part year residence? The dates my husband moved 1/1/19-2/15/19 or the dates I moved 1/1/19-8/31/19?

My husband and I moved from Massachusetts to Tennessee at different times. He moved 2/15/19 and took the entire household with him.  I continued to work and live in Mass in temporary housing until 8/31/19. For the MASS return what should we put as our part year: 1/1/19-2/15/19 or 1/1/19-8/31/19?  Does it matter?  We know how much income we made while living in each state.

@dayakhalsa32 Your previous questions years ago show that you were using ITO (which is now PTO).  Your new question has yourselves as the subject and it sounds very much like a consumer question to which this Community does not cater.  That's why you were referred to the TurboTax Community.

Yes, in other words, this seems to be a question as personal tax guidance, not as a professional preparer for a client issue or for how to use PTO.
