"Solution: This return has been rejected by the IRS because one or more of the Qualifying Child SSNs on Schedule EIC has already been claimed on another return. If there are multiple Qualifying Children listed on Schedule EIC, review the Description field. There will be a number in brackets, [?], that identifies which one is causing this reject. For example: "[2]" will identify the second Qualifying Child on Schedule EIC."
The rejected return in question does not have brackets [ ] with a number inside of a Description field anywhere.
