What is the default "electronic payment of balance due" date if no override is entered?

My client is selecting to pay their balance due electronically.  If I do not specify a payment date, will the program default to immediate deduction of the balance as soon as processed or 4/15 (the due date of the return).

You will get an error message, should stop you from filing unless your are overriding errors.

I always set the date explicitly, at 4/8/25.  I want my clients to make sure the payment was successful while there is still time to pay by 4/15.  I am not necessarily worried the transaction won't be attempted.  I'm more worried about insufficient funds and such.  I am also planning to send reminders to my clients on 4/1 that the payments will come out on the 8th.  (Can you tell I'm a little neurotic?)

I like April Fool's Day (4/1.) Can you tell that I am a bit of jokester?
