TX Franchise Tax Apportionment

I'm trying to apportion sales in TX and I'm getting odd results on the forms generated.

Total sales = $3,657,962

TX sales = $443,179 - Entered this in gross receipts TX in the apportionment screen

When I enter $443,179, the form shows gross receipts in TX as $4,101,141 on line 24. Since that number exceeds total sales, the apportionment factor is 1.0.

I have no idea why. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Your total sales number has a TX in the box to the right of it. Hit Ctrl+E and break it out by state, or code it as US, depending on how many overrides you want to make elsewhere.
