How do you invoice and track customer payments for tax preparation?
When you purchase a professional tax software, you get tax software, not bookkeeping software. The software will create an invoice but after that you are left to track payments manually or using a bookkeeping software.
Lacerte does have invoice capability where you can track invoices and bill without the need of a bookeeper. I am a bit surprised that proconnect does not have since the input screen is a carbon copy of Lacerte
Hi, ProConnect does not track invoices within the software. However, it does link to Quickbooks Online Accountant for creating invoices.
