Tax Returns View

Hi,

I was wanting to submit a request to have a general place to put notes that are visible for each tax return on the tax returns view.  i.e. if i am looking at 2024 tax returns, have a column for notes that we can type in and view on a overall basis if we are looking at all the tax returns. Not have to go into each Tax Return to see the notes.  You could even make the notes visible from the overall view of tax returns.

I don't think that is an option currently?

You are correct, that is not a current option.  Notes attach to the specific client return and are thus only viewable currently from inside that respective tax return.

Currently, ProConnect doesn’t offer a dedicated column for general notes visible across all returns in the Tax Returns view. Notes are typically only accessible within each individual return. [Content Remove] often advises using a separate tracking sheet or CRM to maintain high-level notes for multiple returns, which allows you to see and manage comments on all clients at a glance until a native feature is added.
