IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY & IS NOT FAIR WHEN BUSINESS CLIENTS DO NOT LET YOU KNOW, UNTIL MARCH, THEY WILL NOT BE USING MY SERVICES, TO BE DENIED A REFUND NOR ABLE TO APPLY SOME OF THE UNUSED RETURNS TO INDIVIDUAL RETURNS. AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT CLIENTS WERE NOT COMING BACK, I IMMEDIATELY REQUESTED A REFUND OR SEVERAL OF THOSE RETURNS BE APPLIED TO INDIVIDUAL RETURNS, BUT HAVE BEEN DENIED EVEN AFTER SEVERAL REQUESTS.
I THEN REQUESTED TO TALK TO SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT, BUT NO ONE WAS WILLING TO TALK TO ME. I WAS TOLD TO SEND AN E-MAIL (WHICH WAS DONE SEVERAL TIMES) TO THE PRESIDENT OF PRO CONNECT - INTUIT, BUT HE/SHE DID NOT HAVE THE PROFESSIONALISM TO REPLY NOR CALL ME.
IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. PRO CONNECT - INTUIT HAS MY FUNDS, BUT IS NOT WILLING TO LET ME APPLY UNUSED BUSINESS RETURNS. (ON TOP OF IT THE POLICY OF NOT ALLOWING UNUSED RETURNS TO BE ROLLED OVER TO THE NEXT YEAR WAS CHANGED TO USE OR LOOSE - NOT USER FRIENDLY.).
First - This is a USER forum, so we can not solve billing issues.
Second - FAIR? You can't use that F word in this industry.
Third - The fine print has not really changed in the last few years. It is very hard to find at the bottom of https://proconnect.intuit.com/tax-online/
and it says (modify the years for prior year fine print)

Do you demand a refund from a restaurant if you don't eat all of the food that they brought to your table? Do you call your city public utilities for a refund because you didn't use the quantity of water factored into their minimum usage fee in your monthly bill? Nobody said life was fair. But a lot of folks do say make sure you read the fine print before you enter into an agreement --------- especially when dealing with Intuit.
Hi phil and folks--did want to circle back to say that we do not do transfers between business and individual returns or vis versa. As noted above, if you qualify and are requesting a refund ...you'd then purchase the returns needed.
