us government money market

I have a US government money market fund.  30% is treasuries and agency debt.  How do i input this on protax connect.  On the 1099 it is reported as regular interest.  Do I ignore the 1099 and input 70% as regular interest and 30% as trasuries?

The percent of Treasury holdings does not necessarily equal the percent of Treasury income. The fund should provide that info. Go to their website and look for Tax Center or similar.

Do you really have a 1099-INT or  is it a 1099-DIV?

The more I know, the more I don't know.

Thank you.  Its a dividend and treasuries are 24% of the income.  So how would that be input?

I don't use ProConnect but if you expand your dividend input screen there'll be a place where you can enter the % that is US Obligations or the dollar amount.

The more I know, the more I don't know.
