We have questions on how everyone handles their duplicate clients. We are looking to start practice management and we're hoping to have things cleaned up before we started but are running into some issues.
For example - we have a client in ITO that also have a QBO file, but they are under different names so they create a duplicate. We looked into the merge utility feature but it appears that we aren't able to utlize if we aren't the owner on the quickbooks file.
Does anyone have suggestions on how they handle these?
