Prepare my own tax return

Hello, What's the best way to prepare my own tax return on ProConnect Online? Should I add my firm as client and prepare taxes? How I can import the documents from quickbooks online?

I'm not aware that you can import from your own books in QBOA but I may be wrong.

@mocpa be aware that you will need to have a EFIN to e-file, even if it is just your own return. You will be able to prepare and print a return to mail without the EFIN.

If an entity has data in the QBO format, which is able to import to ProConnect Tax Online, as:

And if you are a paid and authorized user for ProConnect Tax Online, I don't see how the system knows or cares that this is "your" own work.

It doesn't look like that is supported, I just tried to do my own return in QBOA and import into PTO like I do my clients, THIS SHOULD BE FIXED I love the linking feature and mapped all of the accounts and now I can't use it 😡

I have tried as well, including researching it extensively. This makes no sense to me that you do not have the option to import your own company's data and automatically create the tax return. Someone definitely needs to fix this!!!
