Kentucky filing status

Kentucky allows either married filing jointly or filing separately on a combined return.

It is defaulting to "filing separately on a combined return".

How do I change that to filing jointly for Kentucky?

Thanks

Why do you want to change it?

I'm not familiar with KY, but for other states that have this "filing separately on a combined return" status, it results in less tax than MFJ.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

I no longer have a Kentucky client but when I did, the software defaulted to MFJ because that resulted in less tax.  One spouse had most of the income.  I think if both spouses have about the same amount of income, MFS/Combined is a better choice.  But as I recall there was an easy place to switch back and forth, probably on the state worksheet.  But maybe ProConnect is different now.  I was using ProSeries, then.
