Had to disengage from client based on advice of our CPA assoc. Client deleted all of the documents on the link. How can we obtain activity history and deleted files?

Now this is a legal matter.

I think you should have saved them before you disengaged.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

I did, but this is a legal matter now, and I know the attorney will want the activity and what exactly they deleted.

I suspect that comment will eliminate most volunteers from wanting to help you.

I contacted Proconnect Support. There is no way for them to provide a log or history of activity on behalf of client or what was deleted by a client.

Although I downloaded all the files, the attorneys are going to want to know what the client uploaded and deleted, so not having any record is going to become an issue.

"I suspect that comment will eliminate most volunteers from wanting to help you."

Those kind of comments certainly don't encourage folks to try to be helpful.

I missed it but figured my answer would not go over well.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

Another reason Link is a subpar product.

Based on advice from CPA association?  That's what happens when you start asking CPA's for legal advice.
