If they are filing 1040, yes.
If they have to pay tax to Puerto Rico you cannot file those returns.
Are you licensed in Puerto Rico?
WELL I DON'T LIVE IN PUERTO RICO, BUT IM LICENSED IN THE UNITED STATE.
Puerto Rico requires those that prepare Puerto Rico income tax returns to be licensed in Puerto Rico, so no you can't.
Even if you were, I don't think the software has the Puerto Rico returns.
What's all the shouting about? We aren't in Puerto Rico so we are close enough to hear you just fine.
BUT I THOUGHT WE CAN DO FEDERAL, I WAS JUST WONDERING, I'M NEW WITH THIS PROGRAM.
Yes you can prepare federal 1040 and 1040NR.
I thought you were asking about Puerto Rico tax returns.
SO EVEN IF THEY ARE LIVING IN PUERTO RICO, I CAN DO THE FEDERAL TAX RIGHT, I HAVE PEOPLE THERE ASKING ME THATS WHY.
