Ohio form IT 1040 Critical Diagnostics

EBadz
Level 1

Hello,

I have a client in Ohio that I've completed the returns, but under the critical diagnostic it says for many forms:

Ohio Form IT 1040 is e-file use only at this time and will print as a blank sheet with an "Unavailable" notation until it has been released and/or approved by the State and ProConnect Tax Online

Anyone able to advise?

Thanks,

EBadz

WI is the same... very frustrating, especially because other tax pros using other software are not having this problem.

Like it says, you have to wait.

They are trying to cut down on calls to support.  If they "rushed" out the various state forms, there would be various issues that would cause folks to call support.  If they don't have the forms ready, there is only one issue to deal with.  I have to say it is a brilliant move by Intuit.😐

Why are the state forms always late being released?  ProConnect gives the same excuse every year.  This definitely interrupts the workflow...

We apologize for the inconvenience.  Unfortunately, at this time many states have not completed the approval of forms.  Though the forms are available on the IRS website, state websites, and possibly other software programs, they have to approve our software's forms for e-file.  This is done for each individual software program, which is why ProSeries may be live and Lacerte or ProConnect may not be yet.  The best sources of information for our form availability for efile are the Efile Agency Approval and Start Dates and Tax Form Finder articles.  Thank you for your patience.

And some of the states have approved Intuit's forms but Intuit still has not released them.
