Actually, I have two questions about Intuit Link and 1040s in ProConnect. 1) How can we invite both the taxpayer and the spouse to Intuit Link? 2) When the spouse is the main contact, and the taxpayer doesn't want an Intuit Link how do we designate the invitations to go to the spouse instead of the taxpayer?
This feature makes life cumbersome for us. Change the email address under the client screen. It's not good that it doesn't go to both and only ONE name appears when it's a joint return. It looks sloppy on our part. There is only one sign on for link for both taxpayer and spouse. They must share. It makes something that should be simplistic into something that's time consuming because we have to customize and think...Do I work with the main taxpayer or the spouse.
